The Requirements – Delivery of Staff Appraisal Training Media City wanted to improve the levels of competency and confidence of their people with regards to conducting staff appraisals. The challenge was delivering the training to a tight budget, to large groups and in a short session without compromising the quality of the training and learning The Solution After conducting a comprehensive training needs analysis of the attendees, we developed a tailored Appraisal Programme, modified to be delivered over ½ a day to groups of 20+. Using shortened group exercises and a customised DVD to illustrate much of the learning, all objectives were achieved and a greater insight into the field of appraisal attained by attendees .

The Requirements – Intensive Conference Presentation Skills TOTAL requested 1-1 training on “Conference Presentation Skills” for 3 of their Senior Petroleum Engineers to present at two prestigious conferences “Off Shore Europe 2013 and “Piper 25”. The challenge was to take the Engineers limited experience of presenting to large audiences and to match it with their extensive petroleum experience in order for them to connect with their audience and to meet their, TOTAL’s, the audiences and the Clients’ objectives of the presentations. The Solution The solution was to deliver a series of intensive one to one training sessions, tailored to meet the Engineers needs and to bring their presentation material alive in front of large audiences. This training was delivered in a “Master class” style to enable the Engineers to deliver their presentations, receive critical feedback on it and to refine it to the point that it was “fit for purpose”

The Requirements – Management Development for Azerbaijani Employees Price Waterhouse Coopers (Azerbaijan) requested a range of Management Development Interventions for their Azerbaijani Middle Management Accountants with the aims of training these staff in the designated areas, but with the sub agenda of bringing staff, used to working within a Soviet culture, into that of working for an American Company’s values. The challenge was to change the cultural mind set of the individuals taking part in the training as well as to work in part with a translator in order to impart the key messages. The Solution The solution was to deliver the training in conjunction with a skilled interpreter in line with the aims identified by the company and to challenge many of the values and behaviours of employees brought up in a Soviet system and who were required to function within a western organisation The training provided was:
